๐ผ HEAD OF ACCOUNTS & FINANCE
๐ Work Location: Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata – Head Office
๐ฐ Salary: ₹70,000/- Per Month (Negotiable for the right candidate)
๐ฏ Experience: 8–10+ Years in Accounts & Finance Leadership
๐ค Age: 40–55 Years
๐ Eligibility: CA Inter / M.Com / CMA
⛏️ Industry Preference: Mining / Contracting / Logistics / Infrastructure
✈️ Travel: Willingness to travel outside Kolkata for company assignments and site visits

๐ ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a mature, experienced and strategically oriented Accounts & Finance professional who can take complete ownership of the organization's accounting, finance, taxation and compliance functions.
The ideal candidate should have a fresh and practical approach to day-to-day financial management, strong leadership capabilities and the ability to work closely with senior management.
This is intended to be a stable, long-term association with the organization.
๐ IMPORTANT – LONG-TERM COMMITMENT
We are specifically looking for candidates who are willing to commit to the organization for a minimum period of 2 years.

๐ฐ FINANCE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
๐น Monitor and maintain the overall financial performance of the organization.
๐น Prepare annual financial plans, budgets and business projections.
๐น Develop departmental budgets according to operational and business requirements.
๐น Plan and allocate funds for working capital, business requirements and investments.
๐น Prepare financial plans and project schemes in coordination with management.
๐น Analyze financial reports and evaluate the financial benefits and implications of various business initiatives.
๐น Provide management with accurate financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
๐ ACCOUNTS – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
๐น Lead, supervise, train and motivate the accounting team.
๐น Handle recruitment, delegation and performance management of accounting personnel.
๐น Develop, evaluate and strengthen accounting systems, internal controls and procedures.
๐น Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Accounts Department.
๐น Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing.
๐น Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
๐น Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS and management reports.
๐น Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, lenders and other stakeholders.
๐น Participate in audits, reconciliations and other financial reviews as required.
๐น Work closely with other departments on business decisions involving financial implications.
๐น Keep the organization updated regarding important developments in accounting, finance and regulatory matters.
๐งพ TAXATION & STATUTORY COMPLIANCE
The candidate should have sound knowledge and practical exposure to Direct, Indirect and applicable International Taxation matters.

✅ TDS compliance and electronic return filing
✅ Tax assessments
✅ Appeals and hearings
✅ Tax Audit
✅ Transfer Pricing
✅ Annual statutory returns
✅ Compliance under applicable Income Tax provisions
✅ Coordination with tax consultants and authorities
๐ธ INDIRECT TAXATION
✅ GST
✅ Sales Tax / VAT exposure
✅ Service Tax – including legacy matters
✅ Customs
✅ Other applicable indirect taxation and fiscal compliances
๐ธ INTERNATIONAL TAXATION
✅ Transfer Pricing
✅ Withholding Tax
✅ Applicable international taxation matters
The candidate will be expected to ensure timely statutory compliance, effective tax planning, accurate MIS and proper coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
๐ SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
๐ CA Inter / M.Com / CMA
⛏️ Proven experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably within the Mining / Contracting / Logistics sector.
⭐ Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, taxation and statutory compliance.
⭐ High level of integrity, professionalism and determination.
⭐ Excellent leadership, coordination and negotiation skills.
⭐ Ability to provide sound financial advice to senior management.
⭐ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
⭐ Ability to independently handle a senior-level Accounts & Finance function.
⭐ Willingness to undertake frequent site visits for audits, inspections and company assignments.
⭐ Must be comfortable handling confidential and sensitive assignments entrusted by management.
