📌 JOB DESCRIPTION

A reputed CA Firm located in Esplanade, Kolkata is looking for an experienced and responsible Account Officer to handle accounting, finalization, taxation, audit support, and statutory compliance-related work.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Accounts Finalization and Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation/filing and should be comfortable handling accounting and compliance work independently.

🧾 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🔹 Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
🔹 Preparation and maintenance of accounting records
🔹 Finalization of Accounts
🔹 Preparation of Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet
🔹 Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and related work
🔹 GST return preparation and compliance
🔹 GST reconciliation and related documentation
🔹 Assistance in Statutory & Tax Audits
🔹 Preparation of audit-related schedules and supporting documents
🔹 Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny
🔹 Maintaining proper vouchers, invoices and financial records
🔹 Handling client accounts and resolving accounting discrepancies
🔹 Assisting in various tax, audit and compliance assignments
🔹 Ensuring timely completion of accounting and statutory work

🎯 CANDIDATE PROFILE

✅ Candidates with relevant experience in Accounts & Taxation
✅ Practical knowledge of Accounts Finalization is essential
✅ Experience in Income Tax Return (ITR) work preferred
✅ Good understanding of GST, Audit & Compliance
✅ Ability to independently handle accounting assignments
✅ Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
✅ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred

⏰ WORKING HOURS

🕥 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

📅 Working: Full-Time

💰 SALARY

💵 ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Salary will depend on experience, knowledge and suitability for the position.
